“If some camper gets to know Christ through this craft, I would be happy.”
Wilma heard about what we were doing at Trout and called me to see if Eddie might be able to help. I brought him a container of beads to see if he could manipulate his paralyzed arm. He could pick up the beads with a toothpick and in no time he had finished the first batch. Then I brought him a #3 coffee can full. A few days later he called and said he was done. Eddie worked on this right up until he passed away and he said, "if some camper gets to know Christ through a craft with these beads, I will be happy." Trout Lake Camps is not just for kids. It plays an important part in the lives of seniors too. -- Doris, volunteer
